Together We're Better

Outreach & Missions

At the Garden, we understand that God’s plan to touch the lost isn’t to simply have people come to church to find Him, although it’s nice when that happens!  We strive to follow His strategy for us to demonstrate grace, love, and care…to “be Jesus” to others.

LOVE GOD. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.  By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”   (John 13:34-35 English Standard Version)

We believe we can change our region if we love our neighbor. We accept the new commandment of Jesus Christ.

We love our neighbors with no ulterior motive, no strings attached.  We’re taking their side, not asking the to take ours. We love them because God has changed us, not so God will change them.

We SPEAK PEACE, releasing the blessing and favor of God over our neighbors!

3 WAYS TO PARTICIPATE!

BACK THE BLUE

Since 2016, we've invited current and former law enforcement and their families to our annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Event to show our gratitude for their dedication and service to our community.  The Cities of Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, West Richland, Connell, and others have graciously commemorated these events by issuing official Proclamations declaring those specific days "The Garden TriCities Back the Blue Law Enforcement Appreciation Day."

In addition to delivering breakfast to the Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, West Richland, Prosser, and Connell Police Departments, Benton and Franklin Counties Sherriff and Corrections Officers, and our local Washington State Patrol office on Back the Blue Day, the families of The Garden have also "adopted" all Benton County Sherriff and Correctional Officers, committing to pray for them daily.  We support our law enforcement and their families!
