Together We're Better

grow Group LEADER

WEEKLY FOCUS: Being a spirit led family.

- How can we allow ourselves to be led by the impulses of the Holy Spirit this week?
- What areas have we removed the Holy Spirit from sense and reason (carnality) and need to allow him back in (spirit led)?

Scripture: Romans 8:14-16 (TPT) — 14 The mature children of God are those[a] who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. 15 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,”[b] leading you back into the fear of never being good enough.[c] But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,”[d] enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!”[e] 16 For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”
Want to meet people, make new friends, grow in the Word, and build a stronger community?
Host or join a Grow Group!
Grow Groups are small gatherings of 10-15 people who meet in person or online to hang out, discuss a recent Sunday message, book, or common activity, and pray. They're a place we can grow, laugh, and serve together!

Grow Groups rotate on a seasonal schedule so there’s the opportunity to try different groups based on your availability and interests.

God never intended for us to do life alone. Others need you just like you need them. We’re all in this God-life together and together…we’re better!

“Now, this means that when we come together and are side by side, something wonderful will be released. We can expect to be co-encouraged and co-comforted by each other’s faith!”  Romans 1:12 The Passion Translation

Host a grow group

Knowing we belong is always important and if we ever needed community, it's now.  That's where YOU come in! Our 8-week Spring season runs Saturday, May 1, and ends Sunday, June 27. Grow Groups may be scheduled any times except those that would conflict with Sunday services or Team Night, the first Wednesday of each month.

This is an ALL NEW SEASON of Grow Groups, and not just on a calendar! Whether this is your first time hosting a Grow Group or you've hosting as long as The Garden has had GG's, please select which of our two offered training sessions you'll be participating in: Sundays, April 18 and 25, both at 5pm at The Garden.

Here’s the deal…if you HOST it, they WILL come! Every weekend, people tell us that they want to connect. Even people who’ve been going to church for YEARS! Are you ready to be a key that can help unlock the door to their future? As Pastor Thom says, the human mind cannot comprehend God’s response to ONE act of obedience. You want to connect (you know you need to!) and so do others.

Your life IS your Group. Kids, cars, cooking, books, bikes, basket-weaving...the topics are unlimited!  Interested in hosting a group but don't have a topic idea? We can help!

This isn't a "which came first" scenario.  Hosts need to register their Grow Group before April 17, so people can sign up to be in one. Sign up to HOST a Grow Group today!

Grow Groups are a great way to build community, create authentic relationships, and GROW together! Regardless of your your life-stage, location, or interests, there's Group for you.

You can face life with the kind of love and support God has in mind for you.  Sign up for a Grow Group today, where you're loved, you're accepted, and you belong!

Grow Groups will be searchable starting Sunday, April 18.
