OCTOBER 8 – NOVEMBER 26
@ THE GARDEN
Let’s go the second mile (Matthew 5:41) in our relationships, our families, and our lives! 2econd Mile offers various opportunities to grow as Christ-followers – from goal-planning and finances to fire pits and foodie nights – and is another way to connect with each other!
Everyone’s invited to come one Sunday, a few of them, or every time! 2econd Mile is 6pm at the Garden on the dates listed below. Foodie Nights will state the dining establishment as the date gets closer, so watch for that.
There’s no registration or sign-up. Just show up to grow up! Be sure to bring something to take notes with and your Bible (or an app for that).
Childcare is available for ages 8 weeks – 5th grade while their parents are participating in that evening’s 2econd Mile. Feel free to send a packed dinner or extra snacks for your child.
Part 1: 10/8
God wants us to dream BIG, God-sized dreams. The Bible says to “Write the vision. Make it clear on tablets so that anyone can read it quickly.” (Habakkuk 2:2) Your life dreams and visions are so important to God – He wants to show up and show off in your life. We will show you exactly how to write your vision down, and to dream, and see God at work in your lives. Join us and get excited to see God move! (Part 2 is 11/19)
MONEY GOD’S WAY
Part 1: 10/15
Part 2: 10/22
Money isn’t just paper and metals, or even plastic! It’s a spiritual substance with spiritual principles, yet most don’t see it correctly…the way God sees it. There’s wisdom in the Bible that can change the way we see, think about, and handle money. These concepts aren’t new, they’re thousands of years old. When we see money God’s way, we can live, bless, and sow God’s way!
FALL FAMILY FUN NIGHT
It’s a party on the patio with s’mores, hot cocoa, outdoor games and more! (No childcare for this 2econd Mile.)
It’s Foodie Night! We’ll head to a local restaurant for some good eats! No need to sign up. Just meet us at 6pm at Outback Steakhouse on Canal, right in front of Best Buy! Your hosts will be TJ & Paige Fields, Everyone takes care of their own dinner.
Childcare is available from 5:30-8pm at the Garden for ages 8 weeks – 5th grade. Feel free to send a packed dinner or extra snacks for your child.
