THE GARDEN & MISSIONS
“And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15-16 (NLT)

2014 MISSIONS TRIPS
Thailand • June 26-July 6 (guys)
Peru • July 11-20 (ladies)
Our summer missions teams will be traveling with Global Ventures (see below.)  Everyone’s invited to meet at the church at 5pm Sundays to pray for these teams, their families, and the people they’ll be reaching for Christ!  See Ron Swanby or Gary Busick for details.

As an act of fulfilling the Great Commission, both locally and globally, the Garden supports various mission and outreach ministries on a regular and as-led basis.  Here are some of the organizations you bless through the Garden’s missions outreach:

LIGHTHOUSE FOUNDATION/HOSANNA BIBLE CHURCH
Hosanna Bible Church now has 20 churches throughout Nepal, started Hosanna Bible College in Kathmandu, and founded  Lighthouse Foundation, which operates four state-approved Christian orphanages in Nepal where children are given shelter, clothing, meals, medical/vision/dental care, education, Christian teaching and a sense of purpose and importance.  Currently, there are about 120 children between the 4 orphanages and they’re planning expansions since the need is so great.  It costs about $35 USD to cover the monthly expenses of each child and this ministry is operated by donations from individuals and churches.

JOHN SMITHWICK • GLOBAL VENTURES
Groups are taken all over the world and are trained and equipped for the “hands-on” winning of souls and working of miracles. People’s lives are forever changed after coming on just one of these trips!

We encourage everyone to go on one of these missions trips!  These are independent trips so if you feel led to go, then by all means—go!  You’ll be making arrangements directly through JSMI/Global Ventures.  For the cost and to learn more about these trips,  visit www.globalventures.tv and select the destination, then click “Get Started” box for complete details.

Pastor Micah and Nancy Smith & Global Gateway Network (GGN)
GGN’s mandate is forged by building children’s homes, medical facilities, providing clean drinking water, shelter, offering education and meeting basic needs of disadvantaged people around the world.  Two of GGN’s primary ministries are Center of Hope children’s home in Vietnam and House of Hope, located on the border of Thailand and Burma (Myanmar.)

Pastor Dan and Yvonne Harding & Zimbabwe Outreach Extended (ZOE)
ZOE’s vision is to see the generations of families and children of southern Africa touched by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  ZOE also provides much needed protection, emotional support, and training for single mothers and their children through Single Mothers Included, Loved, and Empowered (S.M.I.L.E. Ministry.)
