2015-08-11_1007WHY?
There is no doubt that small things done with great love can change the world. Who wouldn’t want a free cup of coffee on a cold day, especially by someone who is smiling, happy and having fun?  A small act of kindness nudges a person closer to God, often in a profound way. And we do this cheerfully and thankfully!   “Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.” Colossians 3:17

WHAT?
With each act, leave a “no strings” card to let them know God loves them. (Pick up a few cards at the Info Center and keep them handy!) Kindness builds the bridge for someone to receive a touch from God. It’s simple, practical, effective, inexpensive, and fun! It’s just a little something extra with no strings attached…just like God’s love!

Let’s “be inventive in hospitality!” (Romans 12:13b MSG)  Anything that blesses someone else and is perfect.  Here are a few ideas to help get you started:

Deliver cookies to a neighbor or co-worker.
Bring flowers to someone.
Offer to baby-sit for free.
Pay for the order behind you in the drive-through.
Send a note of encouragement.
Give another driver your parking spot.
Give a treat to the postman or delivery person.
Leave a big tip for a waiter or waitress.
Pay for the movie ticket of someone behind you in line.
Slip cash to someone you know is struggling financially.
Pay for someone’s meal or dessert at a restaurant.
Take treats to a police station, fire station, or hospital.
Take a box of doughnuts to a school, office, etc.
Cook a meal for a neighbor or co-worker.

YOU!
Share your story! If you were blessed through a “no strings” card, or blessed someone else, we’d love to hear about it!  Stories may be left anonymously, if you prefer.  Posting to social media?
